National Mine Museum

The National Mine Museum in the city of Rumelange showcases the development of underground ore extraction in Luxembourg from 1870 to 1990. Here, you can experience the galleries deep underground with the mining train and learn more about the development of iron ore extraction – with a large exhibition of machinery.

Animal Park Esch

The Escher Déierepark on the Gaalgebierg in the city of Esch allows visitors to discover around 150 animals from 25 different species across an area of 2 hectares. In addition to the classic park visit, there is also a farm area where visitors can see typical Luxembourgish farm animals.

After the visit, guests can enjoy refreshments at the Bamhauscafé, where they can relax in a treehouse with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
